My PhD Journey at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar

Letzte Woche Dienstag durfte ich einen ganz besonderen Moment feiern: Ich habe meine Promotion “Integrating variable fonts with machine learning to create smart, personalized, and intelligent user interfaces” an der Bauhaus-Universität Weimar erfolgreich verteidigt.

Vielen Dank an meine Betreuer: Prof. Markus Weisbeck und Prof. Dr. Christof Windgätter. Ohne eure Begleitung wäre diese Arbeit nicht möglich gewesen. Danke für eure stetige Unterstützung, Orientierung und Ermutigung.

Danke auch an die Ph.D.-Graduierungskommission, Prof. Dr. Jan Willmann, Prof. Dr. Jan-Henning Raff, und Dr. phil. Gottfried Schnödl, für die wertvollen Gespräche und die konstruktiven Fragen während der Verteidigung.

Ich freue mich darauf, mein Wissen und meine Erfahrung in einem neuen Umfeld einzubringen und spannende Projekte zu unterstützen. Ich bin offen für Gespräche und freu mich auf die nächsten Schritte.

On Tuesday last week, I had the pleasure of celebrating a very special moment: I successfully defended my doctoral thesis (“Integrating variable fonts with machine learning to create smart, personalized, and intelligent user interfaces”) at Bauhaus-University in Weimar.

I look forward to bring my expertise into a new professional and academic context, and contribute to meaningful projects. I am open to conversations and looking forward to the opportunities ahead.
